I'm sorry guys - I'm a huge Firefly/Serenity fan myself but this really does translate as "My agents have told me that if the DVD sales are high enough there may be a chance at a contract renewal."

There's no promise of anything, as much as I'd like the new features I won't be buying this as I have the original already. Show me a petition and I'll sign it, give me the email address of the guys who make the decisions and I'll happily beg them for a new movie / series. But this is only a hope, nothing concrete.

As much of a raging Browncoat as I am, i'm probably not going to shell out for another copy. Although, that commentary with a good chunk of the core cast does look interesting...

Since I don't have Serenity on DVD yet (I just borrowed my sister's copy whenever I wanted to see it) it's no skin off my nose to buy a copy.
