Has anybody been able to get this mod working with SCP
-
Here is the link to the mod if anybody wants to try it out.
http://archives.volitionwatch.com/download/fs2mod/tsunamimod.zip
-
uh. what is it?
-
Its a mod pack plain and simple. Make a new folder in your freespace2 directory named tsunami, and put the entire contents of that zip into it. select it in the mod choosing thing, and viola.
-
I did that already but I get a weapons table error.
-
Well it's supposed to be for retail and doesn't work with SCP.

So I won't be able to get it to work?
-
Not without fixing it yourself.
-
That's what I told him on MSN. The Tsunami MOD doesn't work with the SCP.
-
It's full of table errors, your best bet is to get a debug build and figure out wtf he was thinking when he included various fields twice.

It doesn't work with retail either, but the SCP is honest about it.

A breif look at the tables reveals it's some type of mod that combines both FS1 and 2 ships

i`m a diehard freespace fan since my early days
and i read these forums almost every day
and when i found this thread i was like "wtf no way"
but it is
MY GOD
this is this silly mod i put together like 7 years ago
i could not belive it first of all i doubt that anyone actually used this
i wanted to post something on volition watch and those were one of my few fist steps in FS2 modding
i``m to lazy to make a full blown out mod and dedicate so much time like other mod teams, this was just a "test". For the past few years i was just modding FS2 for my own needs using those great fs2 scp features you guyz made
as for the mod itself i was 14 at the time and this probably why its not so great work phreak :D
i still cant belive it :) really i have this big nostalgia thing now :) and when i was dlding this file (lol its still somewhere on the net?) and reading this "readme" my jaw just dropped  it really made my day
1st post :P
Hail SCP team, HLP team, Media Packs team and others who keep FS2 alive and well :)
