Is there any way to create a wing of fighters that exceeds the number of 6?

(except with ship-creates and waves, but thats not a true wing)

I believe you can modify the interface art... not sure though...

If there are no waves, you can simply name ships "Cancer 1,2,3...12" and give them orders.

then destroy wing directives wont work automaticaly and show the number of ships too be destroyed.

If you add all the ships in the fake wing, they will.

i guess you could make a larger wing FREDing with notepad to.

You can. I think they did it in the final mission of ST.

the preffered solution is too learn C/C++ and make the feature yourself.
