You need to turn up your Ambient, that image is much too dark to make out any detail.

Hmm... not much of a "SUPER" sentry gun.

I dont know depends on what kind of missiles and gatling guns, might not be good against cap ships but I think alastors or shivan sentry guns can be quite annoying sometimes this one could be really hard since its shielded

With its' current tables it can take out a wing of fighters easily..

And that's with crappy fihgtterkiller missiles and a basic vulcan cannon whos' rate of fire is AI dependant.

Try replacing that with a Gallting Turret laser (NOT AI dependant, powerfull) and something like a Harpoon and observe the mass carnage.

trashman, give it some anti-fighter turrets on the sides. THEN it will be super. right now its just 4 times better than a cerberus.

wingmen still took out the turrets (but with 30-70 percent hull).

[proffessor lobe]now let me announce the ship potency and grade of this model!

*taps sentry with a stick, gets shot*

ooooow...doctor....

<one hour later>

Then just increase the shield strength or weapon damage to suit your needs... I havn't exactly balanced it...hech I jsut gace it a test to see if it works, and I doubt very much it will appear with those stats in FOW3

EDIT - may I ask how many fighters, which class and their AI lvls/weapons were involved in this? and how many sentry guns...since I know just how deadly the gat turrets are..

1 sentry gun per a wing, 4 SF Basilisks per a sentry (the most common shiv assault fighter, thats why i use it for testing), captain class.

orders for the sentrys: attack assinged wing
orders for wings: attack assinged sentry

Well, I did give it a ursa-like shield...which ain't much when 4 heavy fighters start lobbing you with swarm missiles.

It's not it's offensive potential that's in question here then... :blah:

I'll try it increasing it's shield and giving it...vindicators...  ;7 :drevil:

Sentry guns are like Aeolus. They hurt, but all you have to do is just stay away from the damn thing.

This would be an excellent place to mount Trebuchet, however. Now that would be a very powerful anti-swarm weapon. If fighters can carry them, why not steroid-sentries?

Trebs?  :wtf:

That might be a bit TOO much  Alltough it would make a great sentry gun

turrets ignore max weapon count.

and energy, and pretty much all that stuff.

YESSS!!!! (Where's that new machine-gun emoticon thing when you need it?!)

I guess the only way to keep it fair would be to use timed turret-lock/unlock SEXPs.
