well, i haven't tried yet, but seeing that in the profile settings it isn't blocked out or anything.

All it means is that your sig was too long so an Admin removed it.

Yeah, backed up mine too, but that was because i'm not creative enough to think of a good sig.

I nuked the signatures.  They were way too long.

I saved them all before I deleted them, though.  If you need anything back, send me a PM.  But in general, keep them short, because people were getting annoyed.

rule of thumb, if youre signature is longer than your average post, its too long :D

What I don't understand is why nuking is necessary. If people get annoyed, they can just as easily disable the showing of ALL signatures on their Control Panel.

Why should we have to turn off the signatures of majority the people who behave properly because 2 or 3 can't use the feature properly?
