Title: RELEASE: Crucible
Post by: Admiral Nelson on September 03, 2007, 04:36:28 pm
The FSPort team is proud to bring you a second campaign this Labor Day weekend:
Join the crew of the GTD Intrepid as she travels behind Shivan lines in a daring raid to buy time for the Terran-Vasudan Alliance!

This campaign, uniquely, is fully branching -- there is no need to ever hit the replay button regardless of what happens in a given mission.  Originally created by Matthew Guenther in 1998, it has been converted and brought up to the latest graphics standards.

Can I just drop this in the FSPort directory or do I need to make a seperate one and add FSPort to the 'secondrylist '?

Just drop it in your FSPort directory.  It doesn't use any mods.

I made a tbm ages ago to make the FS1 nameplated Orions high poly.  That should be in the fsport package.

I don't see it ... but I don't see the needed model-file either

-- but helped myself out by now (just took Trashman's HTL FS1 Orion, put the nameplate on it and renamed it so the tbl-reference is right)

As a bit of trivia, this was also the first campaign to successfully use multiple docking -- long before it was an SCP feature.

Apparently the author figured out a way of doing it via Notepad.

I have no primary weapons in the first Mission. I created a folder called "Crucible" in the FS2 main directory and put a mod.ini into it, with "secondrylist = ,fsport, mediavps;". Whats wrong?

Did you create a new pilot for the mod, and which exe's and mvps are you using?

The final release exe's or the ones that came with Turey's installer? Oh, and did you create a new pilot?

Creating a new pilot solved the problem, thanks.
