Yep, it's back and it's better (& bigger) than ever! (and just in time for the weekend :D)
The reason for the size increase is that I stuffed every TBP campaign that I could find in to it :)
The pretty graphic and install options are still there too ;)

Enjoy my brothers, Enjoy!

It's up to you mate, you're a third party, but I think you should hold off on this until Orph and Kara have fixed some of the issues.
-
Yeah... you could have waited until the fix is done...
and what campaigns are in now?

I was getting PMs asking for a new download link, not to worry tho, I saved all the installer build files so I can re-compile the installer in half an hour plus my friend has finally worked out his internet issues so uploading won't be a problem in the future (he was down for two weeks). Not to mention once you have your fixes together, I can put together a patch that can automatically detect the installed location and install directly to it, the alt installer writes a unique reg entry just for such purposes but the patch would still work for the original installer too but just no auto sensing of the install location but then the original installer again it only installs to one place, so that won't be problem either ;)
Just get me the fix files when you are done, and I'll take care of the rest :) Any ETA on when the fix files may be ready?
What campigns you ask?
Well all of your available ones for starters ;) + madaboutgames' released ones and one or two others I can't remember ATM

It's just better not to bury people under a deluge of different releases in a short space of time that's all. Throw patches into the equation as well and things will get even more complicated. You're going to give the gamers a headache getting their head around things, and yourself a support headache. Best to avoid headaches. I recommend you pull this release and discuss fixes with Orph.

I wasn't aware that hip63 was on the TBP bug-fixing team. How about as soon as the fixes get done, Orph can contact hip63 with the details, and hip63 might kindly change his Installer to reflect them. :wtf:

he isn't --- I did not think of contacting him - my fault

Umm... mistake? You just quoted yourself without the quotes.

Yes I did. Did the message get through this time?

I for one am very glad that Hip has reposted teh altarnative installer and have ben waiting for it eagerly, I don't think any of us mind patching and understand the routine of adding fixes......and those that don't will benefit from learning about it. This is a great project and kudos go to everyone who has helped create it, and enhance the installation. Thankls again to all, including IP and Hip! :)

Thanks for releasing this, its a lot less hassle than extracting the other installer using the administrative install command line. As fixes come out we can deal with them as necessary
Can you post an md5 hash so that I can confirm the installer has downloaded correctly.
Thanks,
Morpheus

Alternate hip63 3.4 Installer mirror (includes the 3.4a patch): here (http://files.filefront.com/Ethay+Abylonbay+Ojectpray4a7z/;9027798;/fileinfo.html). (Never mind the odd title, there's a reason for that. Extract using 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org) and enjoy! ;)
