Title: Duat - HOL variannt RELEASE

Not as good as some of my other re-words.. Basicly I needed something to fil lhte corvette/frigate niche for hte HOL and the Duat model looked nice..  So I scaled it down, re-textured it and added some stuff

Half way trough I noticed hte model was distorted...terribly distorted...like it wasn't mirrored properly..and it wasn't... I had to spend a lot of time to fix that by moving vertex, cutting the thing in half, porting it to max, mirroring propery and then back to TS to re-texture it.

Becosue of that I got rather irritated and decided to hurry things along rather than to add more detail to it.

So now you have a HOL node-running frigate with 8 beam cannons. Still needs balancing as it may be too powerfull ATM.


EDIT - Damn...don't downlaod it yet...It has the damn "no collision detection" problem!

EDIT2 - who did hte origianl Duat? Need his name for credits ya know.

I think the old Duat was done by Venom. Not sure.

It was Venom's, from the OTT modeldump.

Downloaded, and it wasn't damaged by beams or blob turrets.  Was damaged by a pair of trebuchets I shot at it.  Is this the problem you were talking about?

Yup...sorry guys, been playing JA2 again and havn't looked at it...I re-converted it but havn't tested it yet..
Can't find any geometry errors in the mesh itself.
