I don't know where the original picture came from but that model is pretty nice! I mean it! I can't say I;m too fond of the texture on the thrusters but the rest of the texture and the geometry is very well made. It retains a lot of the old ones style while making it different enough to be cool. Just one question? If those gaps on the sides are for missiles then where are the guns? Or is it the other way around? :confused:

I don't have the glow maps done yet, so it's hard to see, but they're the bussard intakes. Once I get the glow working you'll see it better.

I haven't setup the weapons mounts yet... I"m guessing I'll have to have bump outs for them

Oh yeah... alot of the ships in the original WC games were really cool. You had to use your imagination a little bit though, just to get the idea of what they were going for. The graphics for WC and WC2 were top-notch for their time, but still lost a bit of detail unless your sys specs were perfect.

I had to actually slow down my 486 cpu quite a bit since WC was designed for a 386 originally. Must have played through that damn thing over 30 times.

The overall look is good but I would make the main body a longer or lower the wingspan. Currently your model looks short and from the top view a bit "compressed" ^_^
Maybe make a bit of both so a it looks a bit more sleek and stylish.

IIRC, yes. It was years ago so I'm only 90% sure.. I am tempted to run down to my storage unit and dig those games and manuals out. I still have 'em. Blueprints too.

I agree, make her longer still.

According to CiC there is no Jalthi,  I misspelled it, it should be Jalkehi. And it came with a rear turret.

might want to reduce the width of the cockpit struts though, looks like a visibility nightmare. otherwise a pretty cool ship.
