Title: Sync, Transcendant... and silent hill?

I dunno where to post this, so... here I come! ---- I really loved Sync and Transcendant.... and, maybe i'll sound stupid, but are the two made by the same guy(s)? They are more than similar... like if one is the sequel of the other.,... Because I saw one scene in Transcendant where the Persistence... the Farae, the truth... Phi... all of them are in the shivan nebula... and Saya wasn't alpha 2?
Also, the music at the end (subspace) is from silent hill I'm sure it is! I can't remember if it is from Silent Hill 2 or the movie... but it's silent hill style... the sounds from the Daark one (breathes, laughs, voice...) are very similar to those from Silent hill...
Also I noted that the story is inspired in Silent Hill: "The Dark One" The "Dark" Nebula... The nebula inside a nebula (a world inside a world), Memories... Guilt... The nebula reminds me of the fog in silent hill...
All in all, both Sync and Transcendant are the best stories I've ever "played" but I don't like their endings... too much cliffhangers...
And the big question of all: Who's the Dark One? Alpha 1 from Sync? Max (Alpha 3)? Was all of that a dream?

First of all, the other campaign is Transcend.
Then, both of them were made singlehandedly by Ransom Arceihn. Sync was supposed to be a trilogy but that never happened, apparently. Transcend was sort of a side-story for Sync, which effectively explains all the plot crossings and such.
If by the Dark One you mean the Transcendant, you can find threads which handle the subject. One common theory is that he's Beta whatever (the bomber dude who went nuts in Sync). Something happened to him, turning him into the Transcendant. He then used all his mighty powers to try and stop the happenings of Sync in order to prevent the fall of the GTVA, and, well, you can figure the rest out yourself.

The music to White Noise is from Silent Hill 2. It's called 'Betrayal' and, in my opinion is an outstanding choice.

Ransom Arceihn is currently working on a new campaign that is not connected to the Sync/Transcend storyline. He said if he gets this one done he may make Sync 2
