Title: Newbie questions

I made a mission, and went looking for the directory to save it in. I couldnt find out where to save it and then I read the help file. It said don't change the directory. Great... and now I don't know what directory to save it in. What was the original and correct save directory for single player tech room missions?

I also want to know what mod or campaign used the unique GTF Angel model. It has two less engines than Valkyrie and no recurve on the wingtips. It's nose is sharper instead of tapered and the coloring is much whiter.

I installed everything except the Macintosh, OS X, and various Linux executables.

By default FRED2_Open will either save to Freespace2\Data\Missions or if something goes wrong with that, My Documents. Check those two places first. If that doesn't work a search for *.fs2 should find the mission for you.

As long as you aren't editing an already existing FS2 mission Freespace2\Data\Missions should work fine for you (although if you're making missions for a mod like FS1 Port using Freespace2\ModFolder\Data\Missions is probably better).
