Title: Playing God...er, making planets.

Alright, so i decided to take up making planets, since i figured i could get some quite interesting stuff if i tried. I found a tutorial a couple months back about making one, but the search engine ain't working for me. So can anybody get me a good tutorial for making planets to put into backgrounds for missions?

There are some useful links as well as posts in that thread, and most of the images work too.

yeah, i think that was it. I think i might try some of that later today :)
