I did that with mine 2.
I like the ship Scoob, and I see the GTVA has captured some. ;7

Kinda ugly. I dunno man, it's no Darket. And what's with all the symmetrical Kat fighters, anyway? It just looks wrong. Don't get me wrong, I like most of your work, but this one needs some kind of touchup.

I'd agree - it doesn't look bad, but somehow the symmetricity on it seems un-Kilrathish (??) ... And yes, I DO know that the Kilrathi also have lots of symmetric ships - I'm just saying it somehow doesn't fit with this one (except maybe, if you suppose it to be a Kilrathi/Terran jointventure some time after WC 3).

@Hades:
Where exactly do you see that the pilot is a human and not a Kilrathi? At least in WC 1 and 2 their spacesuits looked pretty much alike - and I can't really make out very much details about the pilot on these pics anyway...

Look back at WC 1 & 2.  ships were symmetrical, albient round too LOL  And besides I should have added work in progress.
Also I've gotten to dislike asymmertrical ships (especially those of the wc3/4) They have balance and stability issues

I like the symmetrical one better.

IMO, everything is better symmetrical. Except the letter "p".

Tell you what.... since both models use 99.99% of the same mesh. All I really need to do is one model and the other goes along for the ride.  How about making it two models?

No problem :) - it's your mod afterall. But personally, I like the asymmetric one a bit better, not because it necessarily looks better, but because it simply looks more kilrathish (?) .

The symmetric one would be nice to me, too, but somehow it has something very notoriously terran to it's look - sorry, but I can't really nail this down to understand it myself, it's just how I feel when looking at it :nervous: . Though it remembers me of something I'd like to have done a long time ago; hmm... ;)

Seconded :)  Nice model btw . Loooks like a vaktoth-daddy had a fatal night with one (or even two  ;7 )  darket-ladies  :p

Now don't you remember me what that stupid AI did with my shielded cruisers once... :nervous: :sigh:

What about makeing one of the weapon pods in line with the cockpit part and the other pointing down like it's now? That would create some asymetry. Also some variation in the length of the outer wings.

That looks very much like a Dralthi with Darket wings ^_^
I liked the 3 pod design for a medium or heavy fighter.

Well, this one isn't bad at all, it would make a good Darket MK II im my opinion  :)

Agreeing with Lars, this is a good light fighter design, the 3-pod design just didn't look very light. I think for a symmetrical medium fighter you could take the one with the big wing, and make both wings big, maybe add some more guns. If you prefer, take the proposed medium fighter, beef it up a little, add a rear turret, and call it the Gothri II.

Better: the kilrathi would never (or at least, nearly never) use symetrical designs.

Well they have used symetrical designs for quite a long time...see WC1+2.
