Title: Editing PCX Files
Post by: Jake2447 on October 20, 2007, 08:55:55 pm
I'm working with some custom ships and am wondering what (free) program I could use to edit PCX files.
Is there a free program that can do this?

IrfanView is good for basic image management (like changing formats, changing color depth, cropping, resizing, etc.).  If you're looking for something more like Photoshop, your best bet is probably the GIMP.

Have GIMPshop but it won't open .pcx.

Anyways, I found the texture so it won't be a problem (fro now at least).

like Goober said, use IrfanView to convert pcx files to png/bmp format.
