Yes, 3 sounds about right. But there's really no need since you should have FSO fully installed if you got it working back then.

 :wtf:

Sounds like a sturdy antivirus program, if it, without a warning, declares FSO as a virus and then automatically removes it. Try to take a look at the settings of the Zonealarm. See if you can set it to ask for the user what to do, when a virus is found. Otherwise it just might do something like that again.

My antivirus program used to do that.  After a while, though, the autoupdates to the program eventually took off FSO from the virus list.

Yeah. Back in the old days my 'forever love', F-Secure, was quite convinced that HydraIRC is a trojan, so I had to discontinue using it.

Off-topic: God, I hate F-secure. I loath it. I despise it. Ever since I switched to Comodo Firewall Pro and AVG Anti-Virus I've been ever so happy. Now, when I tried to uninstall F-Secure from my mom's computer and put those two mentioned programs to handle Internet security instead, the F-secure would not uninstall. It just wouldn't die. It must have developed a sentience, since it seems to be hanging on to the system with all its powers. ****, I don't want to start reinstalling XP just in order to get an unwanted antivirus/firewall program away.

 Maybe it considered you as a virus, trying to attack it.

Hehe, yeah. I guess I can be as big a menace to computers as any of the modern worms and such. Not just in the same sense.
