Title: April 4th 3.4 Beta?
Post by: Whitelight on October 27, 2007, 04:32:14 pm
Well i`ve ran into a problem, and can`t seem to edit the models in the offical 3.4 release.  :(  Something to do with (msi).

Is there anywhere I can get the april 4th 3.4 beta version. Or, maybe someone here has a copy and would be so kind as to send me a copy?

Please.  :D

My e-mail address is..  [email protected]

Eh... when the 3.4a final comes out, I'm going to upload it somewheres... But FileFront took down hip63's 3.4 alternate installer.  I'm trying to upload it to another site now, if it works, I'll post a link here...

3.4a?  I didn`t know another updated version was in the works!

Do you know if the models will be able to be edited in this version?

And, thanks for your time, and effort jr2.  :D

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to edit the models in the current release once you've installed it.

Eh.. the place I was trying to upload... err, my computer froze up when trying to use them.. I take it that site wasn't designed for ~1GB files, despite claiming to have no filesize limit... I'll find a place eventually, though.  :/

Hmm, i`ve tried installing it a couple of times and I still get the same errors.  :sigh:

Well, iv`e tried pcs2 to open a number of the models and the error states that the models are not valid models.

Modelview, higher limits says that they have an invalid file header.

Maybe someone else can try to open a few and see if they get the same resualts.

Ok, i`ll wait as long as it takes, and thanks for your efforts jr2  :D

...When I upload it and give it to you.  ;)  I just wanted to know if you had your port forwarded for the torrents.  Now that I know you're all set, I can upload it...  Darnit, I was hoping Major Hippie would have had his 3.4a final uploaded so I could give you that.  Ah well.

Sorry for that...

Here:

Alternate hip63 3.4 Installer mirror (includes the 3.4a patch): here (http://files.filefront.com/Ethay+Abylonbay+Ojectpray4a7z/;9027798;/fileinfo.html).  (Never mind the odd title, there's a reason for that.  Extract using 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org) and enjoy!  ;)
