I have a few questions:
1) Are you going to lynch me for mentioning it?
2) What IS warlords?
3) Should i look into getting it as a placeholder for SWC?

All the warlords ships were converted in the past for this project, however SWC is going to make all its own models and not use anyones else's ships. from what i understand.

Warlords is a Homeworld 2 mod with star wars ships.
No, it can't be used as a replacement for this mod

Warlords models are constructed for a different game engine with different requirements. They are between 1K and 10K tris with heavier texture usage, they are designed to be used in an RTS game and don't hold up that well at very close ranges that are needed for a fighter sim (capital ships have a single 1024x1024/2048 texture so flying close is very ugly unless you put detail maps in) Even the meshing is different as Homeworld 2 uses a onion skin system for lodding details which is not suited to normal mapped models.

It wasn't an official convertion. It was just for personal purpose at first :D

Yeah, and MD has graciously lent us that work to use for internal testing, and we don't plan on using it for anything more.
