Boring and unfunny.
I tend to agree actually.
Nevertheless, for those who are fans of it, please don't let us detract from your celebrations. :)

Eh, I'm much more of a Mike fan.

\o/
Though much more fun to do it yourself, honestly.
-
id rather watch b movies without the commentary.

Sweet, this should be good, as theres enough junk out there now-a-days for them to poke fun at

Mystery Science Theater 3000
-
They had better do Gymkata this time.
-
You guys need to see one of the really good episodes like Space Mutiny or Overdrawn at the Memory Bank before you pass judgment on MST3K.

BOOO YA!

:wtf: Ok fine. Yakmala! . Anyone else got any random words they'd like to contribute?

I was just excited that Mystery Science Theater 3000 is coming back....

Actually I was pretty surprised they never did Plan 9 from outer space
-
Too obvious. Plus it's too popular to obtain the rights cheaply.
-
And there are so many more interesting bad movies out there.

Wasn't that the one that somehow managed to use the sfx from the original battlestar galactica?

If you didn't know, he's got a website called Riff Trax (http://www.rifftrax.com/) where you can download MP3s of his commentary that you play over a movie MST3K style. Not quite the same without Tom Servo and Crow but the movies are a lot more popular and recent. He's got stuff up there for the Star Wars prequels, a few Star Trek movies, a few Indiana Jones flicks and a bunch of other random stuff like 300 and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. He's got some TV stuff up there too like Heroes and Lost. He even riffs on that Britney Spears movie, Crossroads, which I'm sure is the only way a lot of people would ever watch that movie.

They did this one special on MST3K where they just made fun of recent movie trailers a little while back (spiderman 1 and such, I think). THAT was hella funny. They need to do recent stuff - and make fun of good movies too. I guess that would be a bit over their budget though.
