After using the search function with little success, I decided to ask a n00bish question:
How many campaigns are there for the TBP ?
I've played the Earth-Minbari Demo as well as Raiders Wars, I'm dling the Fortune Hunters - 2259 now. However, I can't seem to find anything else. Is this all that has been created to this point ? It's like come on, you're here for several years now, and that's all that has been done ? Kinda... strange.

Drums of War (parts 1 and 2), The Black Hand Episode 1. That's my standard answer for threads like these.
-
Thanks Lobo... Somebody should IMO make a sticky with links to all available campaigns, just as it's done on the BtRL boards.
-
Don't mention it. But I just noticed this thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,50337.0.html). Apparently hip63 has made a campaign pack that includes, if not all, at least many of the campaigns for TBP. You might want to check it out. Hell, I might want to check it out, too.
-
Yeah, and he had to do it after I made this thread :P Oh well, my timing sucks as always ^^

I need someone who knows the B5 universe and has an imagination to bounce ideas off for a new campaign idea I have. It's rough, needs fleshing out, and plots need weaving together. The basic premise though is quite nice. Anyway if anyone is interested contact me over instant messaging. ICQ. Thanks.

Here i am ;)
-
tell me a little bit about it, maybe we had the same idea...
-
okay, we didn't have the same idea. And (to my mind) your idea is strange.
Sure that would be something different but don't you think it violates canon a bit to obvious?
-
I'd be interested in knowing why it violates canon - in a private message.
-
Maybe somebody will want to create campaign based on it video

That video is pretty cool and all, but the Dilgar are GONE. As in, they ain't coming back, Deathwalker was the last of thier race. Besides that, I don't think that the Drakh would've been wiped out that easily. The Dilgar were indeed strong, but the only race that can dish out that kind of power sans a First Ones species, would be the Minbari.
I've got some ideas for a campaign that's in the rough planning stages that's set around early 2260/late 2259 that hits you up side the head as a Narn working as part of a "professional agency specializing in transportation and protection" among other things. There will definitely be a major twist by the time you're done, something I'm hoping isn't too expected. Let's just say that it's on the scale of KOTOR.
Hell, I already have a prequel in my head going back into the origins of the protection agency.

Here's an interesting thought. Although the Dilgar were supposedly wiped out we really don't know that much about them. On one hand you have the Vorlon->Minbari->Lower strength good guys worlds. On the other you have the Shadow->Drakh->lower strength bad guy worlds. Nowhere is there a mention of the Dilgar in any of this. Could they have had masters same as the Drakh? Someone like The Hand perhaps? Someone with the power to hide the Dilgar for decades? If not hide maybe resurrect the species somehow (cloning, genetic experimentation, ancestors from beyond the rim)? Unless I'm missing something that would break canon there might be some room here for a wide range of campaign ideas.

it's sci-fi baby, you can do anything ;)
hip63 :p

What we have like... 2 dilgar ships? You could work the Dilgar into a campaign but it'd probably have to be in the form of a flashback to the Dilgar war.
-
I still don't get how the Dilgar could have been defeated... ...their ships are insane! :)
-
That's just Den5's take on their ships. Me made them quite powerful, and crazy looking. I like them a lot. Looking for excuses as to how they could lose with such awesome ships. Maybe they didn't have very many of them. Too time consuming to build. :nervous:
-
from what I remember, the EA had made thier cap ships redundant in terms of armor casings, and also had been able to mass produce far more ships than the Dilgar. Also, remember, the Dilgar weren't fighting just the EA, but the entire League of Non-Aligned Worlds, plus several skirmishes against the Narn Regime. This is different than say, the Minbari going against just the EA.
-
Not to mention we decoded their transmissions and were waiting for them with about a 6 to 1 cap ship margin and thousands of already launched starfuries.
Just found this in the Wiki. Seems not all the Dilgar were wiped out.
With the help of the Earth Alliance, the Dilgar were forced all the way back to their homeworld. After the war ended, the Dilgar sun went supernova, wiping out almost the entire species. A civilian colony on the planet Planthos survived the war and cataclysm. The leader of the colony was E’Phraim of the House of Ados, the Baron of Planthos
