i narrowed down the joysticks i want to buy to these two:
• Cyborg evo Force Feedback Joystick (http://saitek.com/uk/prod/evoforce.htm)
• Logitech Joystick Force™ 3D Pro (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/joysticks/devices/297&cl=us,en)
i rather buy the Saitek one, but i don't know if it fully works on Mac OS X.
has anyone tested it under Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard?
if not, has anyone tested the Logitech under Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard?
i really need your feedback so i know what to buy.
( i'm buying one of those since i'm hoping that, not so far in the future, Force Feedback is ported to OS X :D )
thanks for your time!
PS: i know is the second thread i write about the same thing, but i really really need your feedback to buy a joystick
PS2: and i really really need a joystick to play this wonderful game!

Saitek makes better sticks then Logitech. However, I've had a Logitech stick for several years now and I've not used it THAT much, but I am happy with it. It's a Logitech Wingman Force 3D. As for compatibility--I don't know.

Saitek makes good budget joysticks, I've been using my Cyborg for years.
On the other hand I've have had bad experiences with Logitech stuff...they don't take well to (ab)use.
On the other hand if you want a quality product you can't go wrong with Thrustmaster - though it takes quite a dough to buy one of those.

NEVER, EVER, EVER GET A lOGITECH (I un-capitalized lOGITECH because it doesn't deserve a capital letter). I have had three of them, one of them a wINGMAN fORCE 3d, and all of them broke irreparably within 2 months. My EVO is 1.5 years old and still going strong.
And as I said, and as someone else said in your other thread, the EVO works on Mac, with force feedback. I'm not 100% sure, but someone will know. The EVO has better features, better feedback, and more reliability. Go with the EVO.

I own Saitek, it's best controls. I have Joystick and Throttle named X52 Flight Control System. That's perfect for Combat Flight Simulator and more games.
I'm so jealous about X52 Pro Flight System...
