Title: Adding Thrusters to a model
Post by: nubbles526 on November 25, 2007, 12:49:23 pm
I am planning to use the GTD Legion (made by Trashman) for a mission. So it goes like GTVA sends an Argo to the Legion, repairs it and starts the engine again. But, the problem is, there is no thrusters (Thanks Transhman for the model though, real nice).

How do I add thrusters to a existing model?

Open it PCS or PCS 2 then simply add a engine subsystem and hte thrusters. It should be pretty straightforward.

I've always wondered why I can't add thrusters in MODVIEW32...

Ahh...so it isn't my problem. I have messed up the model trying to add thrusters using ModView32...but anyways, PCS2 works now with it!

Merci Trashman!

Oh man, everytime when I save the edited version, the pof becomes corrupt, and thus I can shoot through it and stuff.

Any other way?

PCS2 seems to have big problems with boundinx boxes/colision detection.
Half the models I converted with it have colision problems ranging from small to catastrophic.

I recommend using PCS1.
