Title: What happened in November '05?
Post by: Dark Hunter on November 27, 2007, 11:05:20 pm
I was looking through the HLP statistics page cause I was really bored, and something caught my interest.

On the monthly summary, it lists the amount of activity on the site by month. Now, October '05 lists 6 new topics, 48 new posts, and no new members. Then along comes November and WHOA! New topics are at 480, new posts at 8,165, and 126 new members. So my question is: what happened in November of '05 to cause such a drastic increase in forum activity?

Or, more specifically, the 11th of November, cause the day-by-day summary shows the most drastic increase right there.

Word of such a fantastic celebrations is sure to spread far and wide, so it's no surprise that people would come from miles around to see it. :D

The forum was switched to the new server at that point, which may have led it to reset the stats. The October stats probably only cover the last few days of the month.
