Just somthing i have started in my spare time, hope it gets done (yeah, right...) Since you'll obviously find all the jumps involved confusing, i've made a nodemap for ye, green=clan controled, though by the end of the story everything west of Rana will belong to the shivans ;)

Twenty years had passed since the second great war when the shivans came again...
The GTVA was in the midst of a civil war. Against the orders of high command the GTVI Launched an exploration of a second knossos discovered in Mirfak. What lied beyond, no one could comprehend. The GTVI Expiditionary force was greated by the beams of a Shivan dreadnaught. This ship, over 3 collosuses long, was clearly not stopable, but that was not the greatest concern. There were ships helping the shivans this time... Vasudan in origin. The remaining GTVA forces splintered into five clans waring over resources, scattered throughout the galaxy. These clans were Clan Aldar, Clan Deltis, Clan Larr, Clan Ikeos, And Clan Alphaen.

Prologue
Vincent sat in his bed as it always did, it had been a long day. the discovery of a jump node to an unknown system in the barnard's star system weighed heavily upon all of Clan Larr. with the jump node between Wolf 359 and Alphard weakening rapidly, there was little chance to escape with Alphaen through the recently stablized Dubhe-Tau Ceti node.
And in Ross 128 and beyond lay what was left of the heart of the GTVA diehard on staying within "the motherland". All the clans knew it was suicide, and their chance with Ikeos would soon be crushed with the advance of the dreadnaught Dante's fleet into Antares. Clan Larr was, in all essence, ****ed. He lay there for around five minutes, or maybe it was five days... he couldn't tell any longer, when a message sounded over the intercom. "All personal report to the nearest breifing room immediatly". What was it now? Had the Dante come through the Barnard node? He laughed he invisioned clan Deltis getting ambushed from behind. Who cared what happened to Clan Larr at this point? The future of the Terran race depended on Ikeos, and to a lesser extent, Alphaen.

At first I thought this was the Clans from Battletech invading GTVA space. :p

Rofl no, basicly the GTVA got rapezord and the only way out is controled by the GTVI Remenents (Ikeos). Working on chapt 1 now

Chapter I
Vincent walked slowly through hallway 7-A, Several of his squad members were running past him. What the hell was going on? surely it couldnt have been anything that great. Still deep in thought, he realized he had walked past the breifing room. The old hull of the Durandal shuddered as he saw his flesh as well as the Ikanium in the hull of the destroyer bend and twist. Vincent had experianced the feel of subspace before, but had by no means grown used to it. the very particles of his body being de-materialized made him feel light headed. His head hit the floor with a thump and he slowly drifted off into a haze of dreams.
A bright light flashed into his eyes as he awoke. He was in med bay, he could tell by the somehow sickeningly sterile smell that filled the room. "What was his name again Floyd?" One of the nurses asked as she looked up his records in the old ships database. "Vincent D. Shima, honestly, Carrie, how can you forget the name of Admiral Shimas grandson!?" Floyd replied. "Ugh, leave me alone Floyd, I haven't slept in over two days!" "You took quite a fall there son, you nearly didnt make it." "What the hell happened" Vicent groaned as he struggled to sit upright, failing miserably as he fell back onto the bed. "Well, we exited subspace into Ross 128, took on 3 Destroyers, somehow took down two and outran the last one. The section of the hull you were in got hit hard, there was a hull breach. you would've sufficated if we hadn't found you sooner" said Floyd. "Wait... And what the sideways flying Fenris were we doing there?" said Vincent. "Alot has happened since yesterday, we recieved a transmission sent by Ikeos to all who want to join them, they're leaving." said Floyd. "Unfortanately, that also means that if we want to get to Ikeya, were going to have to get through Delta Serpentis, and that means while have the run the blockade comprised of the 1st fleet." remarked another person who entered the room.
Vincent could tell by his voice that the other person was he wing leader, Lt Cmd. Arnold Brawn. Vincent thought of him as a fat German asshole who sat on his ass all day hogging the caffateria, but he was good enough when it came to bombing runs, he had to give him that. With a record of 3 Demon kills, 4 Ravana kills, and some new destroyer that came through Mirfak with the Dante, designated Diablo that he had taken down, his skill wasn't exactly open to dispute. They would need him in the upcoming battles if they were to reach Ikeya Alive.
Yes, i know i spelled Cafeteria wrong, but i dont have a spellchecker. >_<

Sigma Saggitae should be Sigma Sagittae.
And Lupus Nebula should be Nebula Lupi. You can leave "Lupus Nebula" if it has no connection to the constellation. Lupus Nebula = Wolf Nebula , Nebula Lupi = Wolf's Nebula(or Nebula of the Wolf) ;)
