Title: High resolution models?

I searched prior to this post, and I coudn't find my answer : Where do I get the high - res/poly models for FS2? I have the 'resution' in the game to maximum, but the Models are still the same. So, where do I get those breathtakingly beautiful models for the FS2 ships?

Click the 'Select Mod' button and choose the 'mediavps' folder.

Aha!! Thank you!
I knew I had downloaded that folder for SOMETHING!

Question : Can I stick that folder into a mod folder, and play mods / w the high- res models?

Nononononono! Don't do that! Please consult Karajorma's FreeSpace FAQ (lin in my sig). Particularly, check this (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/karajorma/FAQ/installingmods.html#multimod) out. You don't move the mediavps folder. You create mod.ini files to the mod folders, so that they use the mediavpas folder.

Or you just use Turey's Installer to download the campaign and the ini together. :)
