Hello. So I just lost my pilot file with 3 missions to go in FS2! Anyone have a link for a pilot file that's finished the game or know another way to unlock them all. Sorry, I googled and searched the forum but no joy.
Thanks

You could try Ctrl-Shift-s in the simulator room, but you probably won't get the cutscenes to play. You can play them seperately using the same key sequence in the movie room though.

Use the CTRL + SHIFT + S trick Turey mentioned and see if the last mission you played was Dunkerque then. I'll build you a campaign file once you can tell me the name of the last mission you completed.

Thanks very much! I will give it a shot tonight after work. Nice!
-
Thanks guys, yes Dunkerque was my last mission going on to Their Finest Hour. I guess with the unlock key for the movie room and mission sim room I'm good to go so if it's too much trouble making a campaign file, that's ok I'm good. Cheers, I finally will finish this great game.

Bummer it seems the Ctrl+Shift+s works for unlocking missions but not movies. Even worse when I go to play the intro movie from the movie room I get the error in Freespace of "unable to play movie introduction". I have the FS2OGGcutscenepack.vp in the root directory of FS2 and I am using all the vp files with FSOpen 3.6.9 . Thanks

OpenGL or Direct3D? The latter effectively prevents the cutscenes from playing.
-
It took me all of 2-3 minutes to make the file. It's just that you posted after I'd gone to bed :)
Anyway I've attached the file. To use it do this.
1. Go to the campaign room and restart the FS2 main campaign. Quit the game.
2. Download and unzip the attachment to your Freespace2\Data\Missions folder.
3. Restart again from the campaign room.
4. Play the game
5. Delete the file FreeSpace2.fc2 from your Freespace2\Data\Missions folder once you've finished so you can play the first 30+ missions again. :)

Thanks Karajorma for your campaign file! I will install it tonight.
In regards to my movie files not playing, Lobo (or anyone else), I have tried both direct3d and open gl. Maybe there's a link to download avi versions? I seen the write up that details converting them but that is beyond me.
THANKS

Weird. I can assure you that the ogg ones are a better choice and they should run just fine under OpenGL. Maybe that cutscene pack vp is corrupt? :nervous:
-
You should still get the intro when you run the game. Do you?
-
Negative, no into movie as well : (
I will try redownloading the ogg vp and give it a try. Thanks
-
Remember to make sure that you're running on OGL and not D3D.
If you didn't use Turey's installer, where did you put the VP file?

Thanks for all the help guys. I really appreciate it. I found a download with avi files of the movies so I am good to go

You should really go look for the Ogg or MVE cutscenes instead, AVI support was dropped for licensing reasons, it was only ever used originally because the code for MVE playback wasn't part of the source V released (since they had licensed it themselves). It might not be a problem now, but new versions aren't going to work with those.
