Ive been playing the JAD campaigns and im not sure how to remove some of the mods, eg, the bosch beer cargo containers. Now im a newbie at this and i have no experience with complicated editing stuff, so try not to make my brain a'splode :shaking: .

You have JAD in its own folder, right? Just open the Launcher, open the MOD tab and either select the desired mod or No MOD. And hopefully you have created a separate pilot for JAD, since there's always the danger of corruption when changing mods with a single pilot.

If you click No Mod you won't get any of the SCP enhancements. Chose mediavps if you want to play FS2 again but keep the fancy models and effects.

It's Deus Ex Machina that causes problems with persistent Bosch Beer containers, not JAD*.
Do you have a file called DEM.vp somewhere in your Freespace2 directory, or possibly in MediaVP's (if you're using them)?
...Also, are you actually using FS2_Open or FS2 Retail? In case of latters, you just have to swap between what files you have installed at any given moment; if you have use FS2_Open it gets that much easier because you can put different mod files in their own folders and activate those mod folders when you want to play them.

...I know the forum kinda suggest you are using FS2_Open, but I have to ask just to be sure, surprizingly many people don't really know much about the FS2_Open when they get here (including me). And I couldn't resist that little commercial... complete with the Small Font™
