Title: Someone's been messing with the FS2 Wikipedia
Post by: colecampbell666 on December 15, 2007, 08:37:10 am
The FS2 Wikipedia page has had a serious overhaul, but some things such as references to FSO, the HLP and GW links, and some of the FSO screens. Was it an outsider or someone from HLP who did this? It has also been done to the FS page.

I'll assume you meant to say "some things such as references to etc etc etc has been removed."

Judging by the talk page, the guy wanted the article to be about the game, not about the Source Code Project (Which now also has its own page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreeSpace_2_Source_Code_Project )

All in all I like the changes.

Took a quick glance and noticed this.

Another science fiction television series based projects is The Babylon Project, based on the acclaimed Babylon 5. The demo of The Babylon Project was downloaded 100,000 times after two weeks since its announcement,[6] and got mentioned on Apple.com and France's Joystick game magazine.

It was actually BtRL that got those figures and was misquoted in the article on The Escapist. Rather than messing with things too much I'd happily settle for a vague comment about SCP based side projects getting over 100,000 downloads and being mentioned in those places. :)
