(of course alot of the SL fighters I work on will be slapped into Ghosts of the Past too  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) )

I'm also toying around with a custom texture more like that 3rd image for it. Once I get something goodlooking I'll post it.

It only needed it's cloaking system... Do I hear "source code" somewhere?

Well I've been trying to get a half assed render done...but TS2 is going error happy on the shroud if I so much as move it b4 trying to render it.

At least it makes the conversion ok,..but only with the cob2fs2 DOS version...the win version errors out just prior to the "DONE" message.

But since i can't handle the 3ds to cob conversion without TS4,..this is the only SL ship I currently have in COB format so I'm not sure if the error it the model or what.

looks blurred...  is it a prelim texture or are we looking at a bad case of jpg compression?

That last pic wasn't an "in game" shot...just a screenshot from 3d Explorer, changing the size around blurred it a little.

once I test it in game I'll post a better image.

Sweet as! You know it is kind of possible to do cloaked ships in the present FS2 engine...
