Title: What we now know - HLP over the year

We know that kappa wing's bankruptcy drives have activated  :warp:
It's freespaces new ftl drive that was undergoing testing. But, using bankruptcy as a scapegoat for decreased travel times and cost just didn't pan out well for those interplay prototypes.

The question about inferno. Do they really have financial support from friends higher up? :beamz:

Everyone learns that the colossus should never be htl'ed because all of that greebling will cause too much friction with poor ganymede (colossus's wife) :hammer:

And freespace 3 does exist :jaw:, but you'll have to play it in the form of battlecruiser 3000AD (you know you want to play it, look...it's got a fighter with a beam weapon...that's totally freespace 3!). I mean geez, derek's been hard at work...give him some green :headz:

What a year it's been. Also after my hard drive was wiped i was totally able to go over here and find my hlp inside joke pictures :pimp:

EDIT: And unformatting is like a bad option. I've done it before, it's only good for retrieving tiny files. After that, it's like retrieving your data after you put it through a paper shredder. Lastly i moved this from general freespace (it was in the wrong forum).

EDIT: LOL, the funny thing about derek smart wanting to make another freespace game is those people who said "what if he did a good job?". No he would never do a good job, bad graphics, bad sound, planets you can walk on (wtf), float in space in an EV suit (supposed to float in space in a fighter), pilot an orion (a good thing), ignore the shivans and go to 40,000 randomly generated planets all with green grass and a hill(wtf). Yeah, that's what freespace 3 would have been if derek smart had made it.

If this had been fs3 (battlecruiser millenium screenshot). I'd be going omg what a piece of **** :eek2:

HLP has beaten what would have happened to freespace if Derek Smart had worked on it. Those screenshots is what would have happened to freespace and would have become freespace 3. Everyone gets a pat on the back for not accomodating derek. And those who said what if he did do a good job had he made fs3? No, it's obvious he never would have done a good job ever, he'd just give us battlecruiser xxxx with all of the fs2 and fs1 models imported into the game and nothing else :nervous:

Well, I have to give him a little credit, his newest game atleast looks decent in some parts. Best looking fighter model I could find on his page.
