Anyway the following are ideas I've had for porting/modifying that do not necessarily fit in any particular universe. In fact you could say they are to be considered UNIVERSAL.
The Independent fleet is just that, made up of volunteer members around a loose charter for generic peacekeeping and dealing with "OMFG" occurrences wherever local members happen to be.
Here's a Carrier I'm messing around with from MAJOR RACAL. So far it has 3 textures so needs more attention.
Note it has two DEEP fighterbays (nice), unusual rear engine tilt (but thick top and side armor plating). It appears to have two bridges already (one area front top and one below probably dedicated for fighter ops).
Toying with adding a rear flyign bridge as third command center and enemy distraction (they aim for it first believeing that is an exposed main bridge). sensor stuff and antenna to be added later as well as turrets.
Does this excite anyone?
more will be posted as time goes by... Stratcom was my inspiration for the idea of the Independent fleet (but this concept is on a larger inter-dimensional scale).

Ship and name suggest that this model comes from the Renegade universe.

Possibly, but was modeled at Major Racal;s Micro shipyard for a race he made up. All his ships are for SFC3, but not every one is Trek oriented per se.

I found the image again. That is the reason why I thought that it looks a lot like is from Renegade Legion.
I think Starlord mentioned that he found someone who would like to do these models. Maybe he is the same person and uses them for both.
Anyway its a good start. Looks a bit to smooth on some edges but that could be a matter of taste.

Kinda reminds me a bit of the Earth Star Voyager. That's from a Disney movie.
