Title: Trebuchet= A bomb?
Post by: Man-Whore on January 03, 2008, 08:40:53 pm
Is the trebuchet considered a bomb, and thus susceptible to being shot down by, oh say. . . flaks? I never thought so because I can't target it, but lately I've been having trouble with a "perfect outcome" on Bearbaiting, the reason being that my trebuchets do absolutely nothing to the Sathanas' forward flak guns. What's up? A perfect outcome would be cake if only I could take down the flaks with the trebuchets. But I can't.

Trebuchets are missles, not bombs.  In-game, they don't have the bomb flag like, say, Stiletto MK.2.  Of course if they were capable of being shot down it'd balance things out a bit.

Trebuchets are not bombs, and cannot be shot down.  I have experienced this issue with Bearbaiting too.  I think it is because of the shape of the turrets - the center of the turrets is in the gap between the spikes and the base, so the Trebuchets explode in empty space without actually doing much damage to the turret.

Hmm, that's good to know. I guess I'll have to. . . Improvise.
