Which one would you choose?
And no choosing your own project.
For me, it would either be ST:R or BWO.
-
I'd say BWO. Maybe MT or INF:SCP.
If ANYTHING could be completed anytime soon, I would be very pleased, but most of the interesting projects out there are nowhere near completion.
-
Tossup between Stargate project, BtRL, and INF (the whole thing).
-
Mine, then I wouldn't have to find time to work on it....
-
All of them
-
Judging by the quality of released missions, BtRL.
-
Forgot about BtRL...
-
FS3. Failing that, probably the Hi-poly Ships project, if that counts. Failing that, Inferno SCP.
-
That's a tough one, but I'm gonna go with Into the Depths of Hell... the whole twelve chapters of it.
That'd keep me occupied for a while.
-
Ironically, both BWO and ST:R are playable all the way through right now.
Of course, the leaders of both campaigns still cling to very specific ideas about what constitutes "complete". :D
-
BtRL definitely. The demo was on par with professional games. I really want to start on the real thing.
-
BtRL - Then I could go back to pottering around with MG and SoR again. :D
-
TVWP... It's the most interesting. And it doesn't have shields and ridiculous missile orgies like FS2 normally has...

And what's wrong with the missiles? I can understand shields and the Trebuchet, but I felt FS2 made missiles worth using. On FS1, they were pretty much crap. Actually, the TVWP sounds like a good campaign to see, but I BtRL is cooler in my opinion. Then again, I might just want JAD4 instead... just for the laughs.
-
Treb is just what missiles are supposed to be. Powerful long range weapons. Not something you carry dozens and dozens, have lock on range of one measly kilometer and fire in swarms yet still fail to destroy their target.
Thank god for the Harpoon. It's the only missile beside Treb I carry. Yet Harpoon is still just a wussy arcade missile...
I understand some people like to unload swarms of ordnance from their extra dimensional missile racks. But I prefer quality over quantity.
-
To each his own, I guess...
Errm... every last Inferno. Then I can have fun FREDding ideas, or something. :)
That, or a completed MediaVPs set with missions.
One reason why I don't play TC mods like BtRL is because I never watched their respective shows - not familiar with their universe. They aren't shown on local television where I am IIRC. B5 prolly was, but I was still a child back then.
-
Machina Terra would be my first choice. Closely followed by Infero. I'm not sure why but I've never really bought into BWO.
-
The Support of Newtonian Physics and realistic Athmospherical Flight.

Why not try some out? Both TBP and BtRL might provide enough of a taste of the universe to intrigue you, and then you could rent some DVDs.

Yeah. Happened to me. I was a kid back when they showed B5 here and because of a) the ridiculously late air time and b) Star Trek I never watched it. Now, maybe a year ago I tried TBP, just for kicks. And it gave me the feeling that Babylon 5 must've been hell of a show. So a few months ago I... um... 'rented' most of the episodes and watched them. And it did rock. So yes. I also recommend that you try at least one of them.

You said you'd do that once the demo was out. :p
-
Transcend/Sync's sequal. Barring that, the one that was vaguely hinted at for Blue Planet.
-
Want to complete any mod instantly?
Just join Earth Defence! ;)
-
Starfox: Shadows of Lylat (naturally) :D
-
Blue Planet 2 all the way :D

I did and in fact I have. But BtRL distracts me a lot.
