Will Freespace be required for multiplayer in the Prologue or the full release? If so I need to track down a copy...

FS2 is a damn fine game in its own right and well worth playing.

OK, I'm gonna have a big LAN party to celebrate the launch of the Multiplayer.
Now if you could give me a release date, i could start planning. ;)

It isn't THAT easy, but I have to admit that it was a nice way of trying to get a release date.

It was worth a shot. Seriously though, I think The Saga team and fans should have fun game together after the launch of Multiplayer.
