Post by: Excalibur on February 13, 2008, 05:35:10 pm: Do you know where to get or do you have any nice samples of instruments? Mainly piano... at first, even though I have some high quality samples, they just don't seem as good (don't seem to have the depth) as the pianos in songs I listen to.

Or perhaps some techniques for actually creating the song would be helpful.. I've tried to make sonds in Modplug Tracker before, but I can never come up with my own tune.

btw, you use Goldwave as well :p (have you found out how to get around the usage counter? it's quite simple...but doesn't work in v 5.20 onwards)

As for song creation I use FL studio 7. If you mean melody creation, thats practice, and lots of it. I've been improvising on the piano for 12 years.
