I want (need) some really good beauty shots for something I want to do for the TBP DVD.
What I would like is for them to be at least 1024x768, with all the eye candy on and with minimal HUD Elements if possible.
Post them here. You got about a week (surely you will be playing this weekend ;))

to be honest, I have NO idea who to make screenshots in FS2 ;7 (It never seemed important, so I never searched :) )
Explain it and you'll get some cool stuff!

I seem to recall there was some special version of the pause mode specifically for taking screenshots. Where the camera could free roam around the environment looking for cool stuff to take snaps of. Unfortunately I've forgotten the odd keyboard combination to access this features. :nervous: Maybe Kara will read this and know.

Alt + Pause
You have to be in external view to get much use of it. And like normal screenshots you still have to press the Printscreen button before anything is actually saved to your screenshots folder.

problem: my screenshots are "TGA"s, never heard of that. Which programm to use to open and convert them?
Gimp or Quicktime Picture Viewer open the thing but only give me a black screen.

I use Paint.NET.

okay, then there is something very very wrong with my TBP. All screenshots are just black

that sounds strange. did you have this problem before 3.4b?
-
no idea, since I never tried to do screenies before.
Checked BtrL too, same problem. FS2 however works :blah:

I will try this myself this evening. I wonder if this is linked to the black button problem with the updated 3.6.9 release build used in 3.4b.
