Title: All hands to war status?
Post by: starlord on January 24, 2008, 02:41:09 pm
Hi, I was woundering if this promising FS1 campaign was still being worked on? I saw a demo was released.
Will we have the pleasure of playing the full campaign one day?

No. There are currently absolutely no FS1 campaigns being worked on, with the possible exception of Goob's thing. Everything from that timeframe is now FSPort.

There are still a lot of promising campaigns. You can search the FSWiki or Hades Combine (www.hades-combine.com) for campaigns such as Destiny of Peace or Aftermath (there's an FS1 and FS2 Aftermath, both totally unrelated).  Aftermath was probably the "biggest" FS1 project, although I think that DoP was the best. Then you have a lot of obscure projects- Alliance, Marduk's Shroud, etc. Hades Combine is probably your best source for FS1 stuff.

But AHTW never went beyond the demo.

Goober's thing (Fortunes of War) is now FSPort too IIRC.

A pity, as I think it was promising. Perhaps someone will expand on the demo one day.

I'll let Hippo speak for AHTW (it's not dead yet, Jim) but Fortunes of War is still in production and still for FS1, although it's taken a back seat to ST:R for now.

And you guys are forgetting Cardinal Spear and Awakenings, both of which were originally for FS1. :)

I'm working on it right now as a matter of fact. :p
