Title: What's this login popup I'm getting here?

When I come here, a window pops up asking for username and password even though I'm already logged in.

Authentication Required
Enter the username and password for "StarChan is restricted. USERNAME AND PASSWORD IS AT THE
TOP OF THE FORUMS (WHEN YOU ARE LOGGED IN TO THE FORUMS - http://stararmy.com/roleplay
)" at http://stararmy.com

That's definitely nothing to do with Hard Light!

I'll run a Spybot scan and see if it finds anything.

Sure sounds like a damn bugger on your rig. If Spybot finds nothing, try Ad-Aware and maybe some others as well.

I've got the same thing.

I'm using XP SP2, and Firefox for the browser.

All scans show nothing. Just got it on a different PC that never sees the darker corners of the web.

Where exactly are you getting this? I am encountering these messages too but only in this particular thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=51080.msg1045124#msg1045124), and it has something to do with the image links Osaka posted.

Yep. That's what I suspected. He probably linked to an image on a password protected site.

The link seems to be gone now.
