Have you ever played Mass Effect? If you have what do think of it?
-
Played it twice.

Refer to previous Mass Effect thread for my response.

One of the BEST games out there, almost up there with Freespace...
errr.... but still has a way to go :p

Ash, Tali, and soldier Shepard > Your raggedy ass Geth

Soldier CMD John Sheppard, Kaidan and Wrex for the win.
The first thing i thought of after finishing was...
how sweet would it be to see the Normandy in FS?
there's many points that can be made into Freespace Missions...the 1st Contact War, Skyllian Blitz, and the END GAME of course. sigh, if only i had the skills...if only

What do you guys think?

man, props to the expert for trying his best at defending a great game against a hostile crowd. seriously, all it shows is how ignorant some people are about media. and yes, Mass Effect is an adult game, features adult themes... kids shouldn't necessarily play it. but its clearly marked as an M title, and you can set up your Xbox so that the kids can't play it. and if your that concerned, you should look your child up in their room till they turn 21 with a sesame street colouring book. See how well the kid turns out then!

To be honest, I find the maturity of Mass Effect refreshing. I was more than a little sick of people placed in stressful situations saving the galaxy not throwing out a curse or two sometimes. Sitting here with 100% Paragon doesn't mean I have to be a saint, I do the right thing when it counts.

Heh. That was one of my first thoughts about the Normandy. "Can I model that...probably not. Damnation."

I love how it reminds me of freespace. Race of machine destroyers wipe out all sentient life in the universe. It has a ideal universe that covers on all that freespace didn't, like politics and civilian life.
Hey doesn't bioware contain interplay employees?
From Wikipedia
n 1997, Interplay developed and released Fallout, a successful and critically-acclaimed role-playing game set in a retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic setting which was followed by a sequel, Fallout 2. The most successful subsequent Interplay franchise was probably Baldur's Gate, a Dungeons & Dragons game that was developed by Black Isle Studios an in house developer many of its core team would go onto found studio such as BioWare and Obsidian entertainment
