What I want is maybe a campaign that will be released at the time of the new Saga Release or perhaps later. I was thinking of a campaign that will take place in Epsilon sector. Since I cant map or add new textures I need some help. I need voice acting, mission designers, storyline writers, and modelers (for the cool models!). I was thinking about a storyline about the battle for several confederation systems near the Border Worlds and battles for the border worlds system. Here is what I got for the story line (please correct the storyline if there is some canon error! I got the systems form here http://www.wcnews.com/maps/loaf-full.png)
The year is 2669 and the confederation is losing the war. They are sending old derelicts from years past to fight against the Kilrathi threat. One old derelict the TCS Elizabeth a ranger class carrier have been sent to defend several systems in Epsilon Sector to defend them against a huge kilrathi offensive. The Elizabeth is being sent to a new battlegroup call Battlegroup Victoria. The Victoria a new Lexington Class carrier, one Tallahassee cruiser, and two Ajax class destroyers make up the group. You play as Captain Luther Ashcroft a dishonoured pilot who has been sent into a suicidal defence against a horde of Kilrathi.
Features
Fight in Epsilon Prime (border capital), Tau Ceti, Yarin, Sharm,K'ta Mek, and Ross 94f!
Fight against hordes of kilrathi fighters, corvettes, destroyers, and THE HAKAGA SUPERCARRIER!
Fly the venerable banshee, hellcat, thunderbolt, ferret, the famous Excalibur, longbow, and the death trap the talon!
Voice acting (if people are devoted to the cause)
A great storyline (hey I don't know how to make a good storyline so help me!)

PS I will use any model that anyone will offer! And make suggestion how the campaign will go. Make some character suggestions ie make up your own characters or add some traits or why did the captain got dishonoured!

Most of the ships you need are either available (as part of the wc4 demo release) or will be available fairly soon. Your best bet would be to learn FRED, make a few missions and then start auditioning voice actors. HLP has a forum dedicated solely for voice acting.

Thanks Tolwyn for the advice but what i meant about the models they are more like examples. I want the player to fly in more ships that probably never be used in the Saga release. I would want to player to fly in irregular fighters that Confed would never use because in the campaign the player when they defend Epsilon Prime all fighters confed use would be gone. I would have the player fight in civilian fighters that suck in conventional fighting in order to create the atmosphere of desperate measures. In order to defend against an onslaught of unstoppable foe.

It's your game... but aren't your ships a little incorrect for the timeline?
-
I think you should first of find someone with the knowledge about when what fighter entered service.
Also the Borderworld fighters like the Banshee are outperforming their counterpart, in this case the Hellcat, by far. At least in my opinion.
Maybe getting your story more worked out and detailed with a little research of what would be there at the given time.
For example if you want to send in a Lexington class carrier it should have a bigger supporting fleet and it shouldn't be to far from any core systems...except you give special reasons to why confed would send one of their most powerfull carriers to an unimportend system.
In general I like the idea of forceing the player to fly ships that aren't that common in confed military.
PS: I would cut out the Excalibure. It was only used very little at the end of the Kilrathi War...as far as I can remember...and before that there where only little testflights. Even when the first set of Excalibures arived at the Victory they where still brandnew.

Why? The Banshee seen in WC4 and the Talon are both old fighters. Why not use them?
ranger class carrier
Thanks to WC Arena we now know that the Wellington and the Victory are both Yorktown class carriers. I guess you mean the same class, do you?
THE HAKAGA SUPERCARRIER!
Afaik only three of these ships survived the battle of earth and those were badly damaged. If you want to use one of those ships you'll have to think up a really good reason for the Kilrathi to send in one of their best ships into the border worlds (which are not very important for Confed).

I was about to retract my statement about ship timelines as I was pouring my morning tea (0630 here in Japan), and I realized he probably didn't mean the Banshee from Armada. :-P (Though that would be a cool little thing to try)

gevatter Lars
Epsilon Prime is the captial of the Union of the Border Worlds. If confed lost that system it would be a huge lost for confed due to the low morale of the Border Worlders and it would cripple the power of the Border Worlds. And my timeline takes place a little bit towards the end of the confederation war or either that they are just prototypes and are just being used one time in the campaign if i change it towards the start of 2669.
nowd
I will just say this. The Kilrathi are using their best ships to smash the border worlds either into oblivion or to submission.
And just to say this the Banshee was extermely old as pliers said he said it was decommisioned because the range was so short. Oh yeah can you give me some good story ideas.

PS The ranger class carrier is interchangable with Yorktown maybe the Yorktown is a later model that uses that same chassis like the Concordia Fleet Carriers (not the Confederation Class Dreadnought ie Concordia). The reason why did they make Battlegroup Victoria so small is that they need every ship they had to defend against the Kilrathi plus that is gonna be at the start. You know every thing is about sun shine and lolipops until they come in sheer numbers and confed is WTF! Plus there would be pleanty of ships towards the end of the campaign.
