Title: Some basic Sketchup "Don'ts" - SU file tutorial
Post by: Unknown Target on February 02, 2008, 04:14:46 am
So recently I've seen an influx of Sketchup newbies here :) I think that's great, but I'm also noticing a lot of common mistakes. I put this SU file tutorial together to hopefully help you guys out (beware - it's not proofread).

Cheers, let me know what you think :)

Hmm ... Not bad.  I knew this stuff already, but then again, I've been using SketchUp for a while, but this could definitely be useful.  Let me just reiterate that it pays to be kind of OCD when it comes to standalone edges, unneeded polygons, backwards faces, etc, ESPECIALLY if you intend to eventually use the model in game.
