I can run FSOPEN just fine, but everytime i try to start up the Babylon Project, it gives me this error:
Error: Error parsing 'ships.tbl'
Error code = 1.
File:E:\Languages\Visual Studio Projects\Visual C++\fs2_open\code\Ship\Ship.cpp
Line: 3033

I don't know what it means, but I've installed the core program and the 3.3 patch as instructed. I also dled the EMW campaign pack, so i don't know if that has something to do with it or not. Tech help please?

Ummm. You installed the 3.3 patch on top of the 3.4 install? You really shouldn't have done that.
Either way you don't want to be using 3.3, get yourself 3.4b instead.

Baka desu ka? I said the core program. Which apparently is 3.2. I didn't try 3.4 because it said its not necessarily stable. I did the stuff from the site, not the forums. Anyone know what the error actually means? Looks like I'm missing ship data......or something.

You have a flawed ships.tbl. And, as it was stated, it's because you are doing it the old-fashioned way by installing 3.2 and the 3.3a patch. Ignore the site. It's, like, so outdated. 3.4 has been out for a long while and it works. 3.4b, with some bugfixes, was released a short while ago and I'm telling you, it works. Please remove your current TBP installation and see this thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,51781.0.html) for the 3.4b. Trust me on this one.
Edit: Oh, and if/when you install 3.4, you don't need to separately install the Earth Minbari War Demo or the Raider Wars, since they are included in 3.4.
