I watched part of it on youtube and honestly it is quite scary. When medication is applied to people who actually need it, it is quite benefitial. But this is getting out of hand. Some of these kids might benefit from therapy of some kind (like adequate parenting), but to just pump them up with drugs is dangerous, especially with very young children.
Any thoughts on this?

Medicines and healthcare are for the weak who are afraid of natural selection.

Why watch it on YouTube when you can watch it in better quality right on PBS' website?

It looks interesting. I've been meaning to sit down and give it a look.

I think there is definitely an overmedication problem. People expect their kids to come out of the womb as adults, and think they have brain problems when, get this, they act like children! It also doesn't help that there's a "medical condition" that is basically described by a short attention span, when our society promotes multi-tasking, which has the unhealthy side-effect of short attention spans.
Yeah, we got problems. What else is new?
