Sure, it took a few decades, but somebody finally got around to saying 'sorry' (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7241965.stm) for that whole business of raping their culture and stealing their land, their livelihood, and their children.
This has me thinking; have other governments done a similar thing to disrupted natives? Or is the idea of apologizing for past wrongs itself the wrong thing to do so far after the fact? Discuss!
