The following are stated as canon in the great war timeline... How much of it is true and where are the sources from? I can't seem to locate the validity and don't believe they are true, specifically the dates.
2320:
March:
First official contact with the Vasudan Parliamentary Empire.
It was in march of 2320?
2322:
November:
GTA officials determine the war will not be short. Authorizes the construction of the GTC Leviathan cruiser.
Where did this date come from?
November:
Battle of Gulnara... This defeat leads GTA command to believe that victory is on the horizon. Leviathan production is halted, and the GTA initiates a major offensive.
I'm still not seeing where these dates are coming from?
-
I don't know about the first date (though I suspect it comes from one of the Vasudan intelligence sections), but I know the two involving the Leviathan come from its tech entry in FS1.
-
But I don't see any dates though...

Thanks for bringing this up. I added an explanation on the page.

Thanks for clearing that up ;)

I really hate that timeline as people keep thinking it's canon while it's not, despite the big banner at the top. :doubt:

which was just added...

You think that a bit of bold text will make people think differently when a big NOT ALL OF THIS STUFF IS CANON tag didn't?
-
If people really want to ignore something, they will. You'd be amazed the number of people I've met that I think are capable of doublethink (or, considering today's world, maybbe you wouldn't).

Oh, the irony...
Was that intentional?
-
Er... probably not. :D
To what are you refering?

It was outlined in white text, not gray (non-canon) - I was confirming the source and I got the answer... What's the big deal?
