O man, I can see Admiral Petrarch ramming the Aquitaine into another destroyer for tailgating. That sounds like something you would see in a JAD campaign too.

I think of only one sound when you make a JAD reference: DOONG!
The Admiral must've done this on one of the planets in Vega or Capella before he became the Aquitaine's captain. :drevil:
On a side note, he approves of Minute Maid juice. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZIzRqDOSZo) ;)

I can see him doing this to shivans in the middle of FS2....
Completely random idea inspired by this and DEM, and the JAD series. Completly remake the FS1 & 2 into the JAD/DEM style comedies...With the Aquitane ramming an enemy ship for Tailgating...
-
Ooh. You could even have authentic voice-acted messages in the mission. :D
-
Yep...And other crazy things like
Briefing text and Comms Chatter of the last 3 missions against the NTF - "Kings Gambit - Endgame" is in Chess-speak.
The Colossus and Sathanas interrupt "High Noon" to have a singing contest. they compare renditions of the High Noon theme...It then turns into an arguement over who was better descending into trading insults...before resuming the mission as normal...
Every single sentence uttered by a vasudan involves fish or Headz...somehow
That sort of wierd humour

The GTVA has just unveiled the newly developed Erinyes-class heavy assault fighter. With eight gun banks, you'll have sufficient firepower to make short work of enemy targets at close range. The Erinyes can accommodate fire control for up to two different primary systems.
You may need to allocate more power to weapons to fight effectively, so make adjustments as needed. This is where mechanical excellence and 1,400 horsepower pays off.
Your actions jeopardized the lives of those involved in this mission and the GTVA's objectives in this theatre. Desertion is grounds for a court martial, and you are confined to quarters pending your preliminary hearing. Until a military court decides otherwise, you are hereby stripped of your wings and all privileges bestowed upon you as an officer of the Galactic Terran-Vasudan Alliance.
I'm sorry about that. But tailgating is one thing I cannot tolerate.

Put this up on freespace paint thread...
Just in-case you don't look... :D

How about getting Simon Cowell into the fray? ;7

Ah yes, remember the SC Urobach? Hear this out:
Maybe a little cutscene-mission could be made such that the Shivan cruiser jumps in directly behind the Aquitaine, hitting it and then proceeding to move along the side of the destroyer. Then the admiral swears and blasts the cruiser to pieces with the destroyer's guns...and when he's done, he realises that the fighters (and bombers) that jumped in had already disabled the Aquitaine's engines and weapons subsystems (and swears even more?).
*bleep* *bleep* *bleep* *bleep* *bleep*
I got those five bleeps recorded from a YouTube Poop video. :drevil:

He doesn't like aliens full stop. Just watch the wrath in his voice in Independance Day! I wouldn't want to be a Vasuadan on the Aquitane!

reminds me of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZIzRqDOSZo&feature=related)

Best juice ad EVER!

I can see Petrarch dancing on the deck of the Aquitaine...

Excellent! No wonder they made him an admiral! :drevil:
Even at his age, he still has a sharp mind.
-
speaking of which, isn't loggia 78 years old now?
-
/me looks up Wikipedia on Robert Loggia.
Yeah, he's 78.

The first vid was awesome. He pwend that guy lol. Thats why they made him Admiral. No one will stand up to him and live, thats why hes survived every battle. Man he beat that kid silly, it was so funny.

He must've been playing with it while the Aquitaine was disabled by the SC Urobach and its fighter complement. :drevil:
