Hi, I'm new ...
I've got this problem where, when I create my mission, I have to save it ... but I didn't know where. I found freddocs and tried it ... but it just tells me - "File not found"
can someone help me out? :)
Flex
BTW, nice site

If you're not paying attention FRED will save your missions in My Documents. They need to be in Freespace2\Data\Missions if you are playing with no mods or Freespace2\ModName\Data\Missions if you are playing a mod.
You may have to create that folder if it doesn't already exist. Make sure your mission's name is under 27 letters long BTW as the limit including the extension is 31 or 32 characters.

It appears on the list in the flight simulator?

Hmm, tricky to help without being there.
Just for clarification, what is saying "File not found"? Is it FRED or Freespace?
EDIT: Oh, by the way, Welcome! (That makes me sound like a veteren when actually I'm just a noob....)

well fred says it i think ...
and whats the list on the flight sumilator?
-
When you go to the Tech room in Freespace, look under "flight simulator" and then "single mission" (or something to that effect) your mission *should* be there, provided you haven't assigned it to a campaign.
And try to sound more sure of yourself man!

ok ... I'll have a look ... I hope. lol jk
sure I'll take a look and I'll get back to you if it works ...

well fred says it i think ...
If you're trying to use FRED's "Run" command, don't. That command doesn't work.
Load FS2 manually and test the mission in the Tech Room's mission simulator.
