WOW, I just watched the TV about this M-theory (String theory)thing, its realy hard to explain but esentialy scientists beleve that they have the theory that explains the big bang.
Esentialy our Universe is the bye product of the "Multiverse" (contains many universes including) and was probably started by somthing in another universe untill when it started to grow it spliced its self from that universe into its own infinate space.
i cant realy explain it but i sugest you do a net search for
"M theory"
If they can figureout what happened before the big bang, and have a theory about how to make a universe, then prohaps they even could minipulate our universe to make a WormHole :-).

I think this ties in with the multiple horizons thingy.
The key word in all of this is 'theory'.

Heard of this theory before; it makes sense to me for the most part, and it would explain some of the strange effects we see today. Who knows; maybe it will lead to some sort of subspace-type discovery.:D

Too true.

Yer, it is only a theory, but If it were real, humans might be able to cross between dimentions. In the program scientists are now working out how to create a universe in a controled lab experement, one scientist said:
"it is quite phesable to create a universe, but it will only last a fraction of a second before it creates a space of its own in the multiverse, and splices its self from our universe"
If scientists do this, or solve complex problems (which I think they all ready have done) we will entering a new age of Exploration and descovery.
Stupid Idea: I wonder if its possable to create a computerised model of a universe using this formuale or ones like it. Somehow I dont think I have enuff ram in my comp to create a universe. (Joke= hell i could be a god creating my own forms of life, lol)

Being a theoretical kind of guy, accurate theories are as good as observations to me.:D
