BUSH: A clear lesson I learned in the museum was that outside forces that tend to divide people up inside their country are unbelievably counterproductive. In other words, people came from other countries — I guess you’d call them colonialists — and they pitted one group of people against another.
Speaking in a Rwandan museum on why US forces are not being sent to Darfur.

I can never understand what he's trying to say.

Isn't he doing that same thing in Iraq?
-
he actually once said "Terrorsists never stop trying to find ways to harm our country, and neither do we! :eek2: :wtf:
-
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... That's a shame."
"The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur."
-

You got to agree that at least he's honest enough to say it.
-
Yes, it's insanely hypocritical, but it's the first sane thing I've heard him say in a long time.
-
"The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur."
He really said that? Oh that's just hilarious
-
Isn't he doing that same thing in Iraq?
I hope that was a rhetorical question, Kosh :P
-
My favourite quote, not exact- the majority of US imports come from abroad. Lolz
-
Only Dekker could laugh at that...:P
My dad is Canadian, and he thinks Bush is a great leader :wtf:

My dad is Canadian, and he thinks Bush is a great leader :wtf:
He is the ONLY person I have heard of who thinks that.

Ditto.

My American aunt and uncle think that too.

Why would only i laugh at that :wtf:

Try to find someone outside America who honestly thinks it.

Like i said, my dad. We live in Canada :D
-
Like i said, my dad. We live in Canada :D
But you live in Calgary, so that makes you a redneck. :p
-
And i'm proud of it :D
-

But you live in Calgary, so that makes you a redneck. :p
Calgary has relatively few rednecks compared to rural Alberta. Despite what Eastern Canadians think, not everyone in Calgary is a cowboy or wears a cowboy hat. =)
-
Obvious...even old Canadian populations(not Europeans) are pretty "modern" now.

My uncle lives in Calgary is about as redneck as you can get.

You're mixing us up with Texans.
-
I'm not mixing up with Texans, there's a consistent community of true Canadians in Canada. About 1,000,000 people.
-
And they are all Calgarians :P
-
Many of them commit sucide/don't have water.
-
In that case, i know one or two... :nervous:
-
All truespace masters i assume? :wakka:
-

What the hell are you talking about/smoking?

I have recently watched a program about them on TV. They're not having a great time.

About Native Americans/Canadians? They go ***** to Ol' Steve about residential schools and how it's his fault, eve though they happened before he was born. They barely or don't pay taxes, get private casinos, and have gang wars amongst themselves. They have created their suffering.
-
Do they deserve attention? They have serious problems, I can't believe many of them don't even have pure water.
-
I heard some of them smoke marijuana too...
-
:jaw: for shame. How dare they ? :nervous:

Nuke does, no one cares. Of course, no one lives in Alaska, either.
I heard some of them smoke marijuana too...
You're probably right.

They get free land and they pay for barely anything. They don't pay taxes, and barely help the economy, because most of them are on welfare because their parents suffered in residential schools, or some other bull****. If they want water, they can stop squandering money on weed and gambling and buy it.

Thats most homeless people's problem. Spend what money they get from begging on boose and drugs.

We get panhandlers bad in Halifax, I hate to see them in Calgary. Or Tokyo. :shaking:
-
Cole, unfortunately you've been listening to a lot of redneck, right-wing BS on aboriginals in Canada. Yes, there are a great many problems, and yes, there are perpetuating cycles, and yes, the federal government needs to handle it much better but there are serious complexities to the issue which you have entirely glossed over.
-
Maybe I have. I'm just a mouthpiece for the government.
(and FWIW, I'm part Inuit)
