Inspired by the FRED Tutorial, I bring you, the Orion Under Construction.

I think it should be based on the HTL orion, but I would love to see it finished. Also it would look cool if you make the border between the finished parts and the unfinished parts somewhat irregular.

Do you need a proper flag to enable it? Is it don't-collide or something similar?

Eh? The AI is just too stupid to dodge stuff. Thats why everyone loves Shivan comm nodes.

I dont think they are comm nodes just boby traps for terran and vasudan pilots

They're also usefull for swatting away anyone who is on your tail.

Very cool Galemp, I would also suggest to make the transition from the solid parts to the naked framework "fuzzy". Maybe something like the Khar-Selim derelict from Homeworld: http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Khar-Selim (http://homeworld.wikia.com/wiki/Khar-Selim)
This might be a good place to use textures that are partially transparent.
