Title: TBP downloads
Post by: zadjehuty on February 26, 2008, 12:34:13 am
I'm trying to download TBP, but most of the download links don't work, both on the website and on this forum. Does anyone have working links for 3.2 and 3.3a? Thanks!

You should be using 3.4b.   It's beta but very stable.  Download link is stickied at the top of this forum.

Yup. Anything with 3.4 in the version name is good. Forget about 3.2 and 3.3. You can't even play through Raider Wars without some serious fiddling. And while at it, 3.4 already contains Raider Wars and Earth Minbari War Demo. So no need to download them separately.

Also, please. Whoever has the power, do something to the TBP site. This is, like, the 7th time this month, when a new guy complains that he can't download 3.2. At least a little mention on the first page saying that the site is old, please see forums. Or something.

For the record. I have no login to modify this site. Even after asking for one.

Thanks guys. Last year I had 3.3--got a new computer, and didn't know about the upgrade. By the way, this mod is awesome!

Well no new models but the inclusion of (mostly) working multiplayer might constitute reason enough for a bump. :) A new number might also help ensure everyone is on the same page.

It's IP's call though.

Sure the final tweaking process has gone on long enough to warrant a new number. I'll tell hip and provided it's not a huge bind on him we'll have a new number.

for me this is not a mod, its a new game itself
... and it's not a mod, anyways. It's a total conversion.

Good. Understand TBP is not being developed further. Limited multiplayer support and bugfixes. That's your lot matey.
